Holy Family

Holy Family Catholic Church, 13900 Church Place, next to the St. Andrews Gate, will observe the Fourth Sunday of Ordinary Time on Sunday, Feb. 7. The First Reading is from 7:1-4, 6-7, and the Second Reading is 1 Corinthians 9:16-19, 22-23. The Gospel reading will be from Mark 1:29-39.

First Friday Devotion

The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available First Friday at 9:15 a.m. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 5.

The Year of St. Joseph Hail

Pope Francis proclaims the 2021 liturgical year as the Year of St. Joseph Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. “To you God entrusted his only Son; in you, Mary placed her trust; with you, Christ became man.

“Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life. Obtain for us grace, mercy, and courage, and defend us from every evil. Amen. “Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.”

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

“Our Lord is truly present: body and blood, soul and divinity in the Blessed Sacrament.” Holy Family will observe the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Saturday, Feb. 6, after 8:30 a.m. Mass, concluding with Holy Hour from 2-3 p.m.

The church is now open to public entry and can return to its regular Mass schedule. Saturday (Vigil Mass) is at 4 p.m., and Sunday Masses are at 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and noon. Those who attend must wear a mask or face shield, sit socially distanced, and use hand sanitizer upon entry into the building.
