Holy Family

HolyFamilyCatholicChurch, 13900 Church Place next to the St. Andrews Gate, will observe the Second Sunday of Advent on Dec. 2.

The First Reading is Isaiah 40:1-5, 9-11, and the Second Reading is 2 Peter 3: 8-14. The Gospel Reading will be from Mark 1:1-8.

First Friday Devotion

Holy Mass is Dec. 4 at 8:30 a.m. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available after Mass.

Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary It is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be held on Monday, Dec. 7, at 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 8:30 and 11 a.m.

Confessions will be on Monday, Dec. 7, from 3-3:45 p.m.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Feast Day For the fifth consecutive year, and as a result of a great response from all of the parishioners and visitors, Holy Family Catholic Church will have a special celebration (following health guidelines) honoring the anniversary of the apparition of Our Blessed Mother in Tepeyac Hill, Mexico City, to Saint Juan Diego. Mass will be Saturday, Dec. 12, at 8:30 a.m.

Due to Orange County COVID-19 restrictions, Mass will now be held outside. The schedule remains the same: Saturday (Vigil Mass) at 4 p.m. and Sunday Masses are at 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and noon. The church will be open to visit the Blessed Sacrament and/or for individual prayer. Those who come to the outdoor Masses are advised to dress warmly and bring their own chairs. Masks and social distancing are required.
