Congregation Sholom
Congregation Sholom will hold services via Zoom with Rabbi Mike Mymon on Friday, Sept. 20, at 6:30 p.m. Mymon will also lead the hybrid services on Saturday, Sept. 21, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and Zoom at 10 a.m. Saturday’s Torah reading will be Ki Tavo from the book of Deuteronomy. Ki Tavo (When You Come) opens by describing the ceremony of the first fruit offering (bikkurim) and the declaration made upon the completion of tithing. It concludes with a detailed description of blessings that follow obedience to God’s laws and curses that come with their desecration.
Congregation Sholom’s High Holidays schedule has been set. LWers are welcome to come to any and all of the services below, led by Rabbi Mike Mymon and Cantor Marla Barugel.
Saturday, Sept. 28: Selichot in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2: Erev Rosh Hashanah in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday Oct. 3: Rosh Hashanah in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 9:30 a.m.
Friday Oct. 4: Rosh Hashanah in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 9:30 a.m.
Friday Oct.11: Kol Nidre in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 6.30 p.m. Saturday Oct. 12: Yom Kippur in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 9:30 a.m.
