Sunshine Club

Seal Beach Police Detective Jon Ainley will speak at the Sunshine Club on Friday, Sept. 6, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m.

Ainley will talk about avoiding financial scams including identity theft, financial/physical elder abuse, caretaker theft, as well as computer hacks/ malware.

Ainley joined the Seal Beach police department in 2017 and has since assumed roles as a field training officer, special enforcement team member, Leisure World detective, and peer support team member.

Since assigned to his position, Ainley has investigated additional crimes including kidnapping, carjacking, fraud, assault, elder abuse, vehicle theft, sexual assault, burglary as well as many additional crimes.
