GRF BUS TRIPS
The Recreation Department is conducting a GRF bus trip to experience the Nethercutt Museum featuring a buffet lunch at the Odyssey on Thursday, Sept. 19. The bus departs from the Amphitheater parking lot at 7:30 a.m., the tour begins at 10 and lunch is 12:30 p.m.
J.B. Nethercutt was co-founder of Merle Norman Cosmetics and was the owner of one of the greatest and most valuable car collections in the world. His car collection contains the two of the most valuable cars in the world. Several cars from the collection have been used as the lead car carrying the grand marshall of the Rose Parade.
Lunch is hosted nearby at the Odyssey atop the scenic hills of Granada Hills, with captivating views of the surrounding San Fernando Valley.
Tickets are $105 per person and may be purchased at the Recreation Office, located on the lower level of Building 5 or online at https://www.lwsb.com/ special-events/.
Participants need to complete a release form and return it to the office in person or via email.
