LW Assembly of God

One of the core values of LW Assembly of God is supporting missionaries around the world and at home to spread the Gospel. The church is currently parting with the Southern California Network in a two-year project called “The Forgotten,” reaching Sri Lanka. Education, clean water, building churches and establishing Champions Clubs for families with special needs children create relationships that open doors to the salvation message. Rev. Dan Campbell, SoCal Network Director of Missions, will share more about the project along with a sermon this Sunday, Nov. 10.

The Wednesday Bible study is on session seven of “Essentials for Finishing Well,” by Hal Habecker. This week’s declaration is “I Will Anticipate Heaven.” Aging is inevitable, and all people are headed to the same end. But the end of life on earth is not the end of the story. What happens next is well within people’s control. This session reveals the attitude and intent seniors can cultivate to make the next chapter one to anticipate with joy and great expectation.

Leisure World Assembly of God meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study is at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is the fourth Sunday of the month at 6 p.m., in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby. All residents and friends are welcome.
