Congregation Sholom
Congregation Sholom will hold services with Rabbi Karen Isenberg via Zoom on Friday, Aug. 9, at 6:30 p.m. An oneg will follow services. Rabbi Mike Mymon will lead the hybrid service on Saturday, Aug. 10 in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and Zoom at 10 a.m. To receive a Zoom invitation, contact Jeff Sacks at 714-642-0122.
Services for Tisha b’av will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13, in conjunction with Temple Beth Emet of Anaheim.
On Wednesday, Aug. 14, California Pizza Kitchen at 12171 Seal Beach Blvd. will donate 20% of dine-in, takeout and pick up orders to Congregation Sholom. All residents are invited to enjoy good food and to support Congregation Sholom’s fundraiser. Those who are interested are asked to RSVP at https://shorturl. at/83jN6 so Congregation Sholom and California Pizza Kitchen knows roughly how many orders to expect.
