Meet Los Al School Board candidate Aug. 1

SENIORS FOR PEACE

The Seniors For Peace Club will meet on Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. Los Alamitos school board candidate Farnaz Pardasani will speak and the “Get Out The Vote” letter and postcard writing campaign will be held during the second half of the meeting.

Pardasani, who is running for the seat that includes Mutuals 1 and 2, will share her vision for education and the Los Al school district. After the speaker portion of the meeting, the club will continue its “Get Out The Vote” campaign with letters and postcards to voters in various crucial elections in California and other states. Pen-wielding as well as donations for stamps for this critical but expensive ongoing campaign will be much appreciated.
