Seal Beach Sa-Rang Church marked its 20th anniversary with a two-day celebration on Oct. 5-6. The event featured an ordination and installation ceremony, along with a revival meeting titled “Let’s Get God’s Grace.” The church invited Rev. Paul Kim, who has served in Russia for 32 years, to lead the gathering. On the first day, Rev. Kim delivered a sermon on getting the key to heaven, followed by a message about being a good person on the second day. During the celebration, two church members, Kang Man Lee and Kyoo Rae Choi, were ordained as deacons, while three members, Young Ok Chung, Soon Ok Kim, and Bong Soon Choi, were installed as Kwonsas.

The church also provided lunch, table clocks and Korean rice cakes as tokens of appreciation. The choir performed hymns, including “Be Faithful” and “Would You Be Free from Your Burden of Sin?” which they had previously sung at a “Love Concert” in Los Angeles on Sept. 29.
