Meals on Wheels Orange County
Meals on Wheels Orange County in partnership with the city of Seal Beach is hosting The Lunch Cafe at the North Seal Beach Center, 3333 St. Cloud Dr., Seal Beach, Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m.-noon. It is open to anyone 60 or older. Suggested contribution is $3. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $5. Meals are served on a first-come, firstserved basis and come with 1% milk.
LW Minibus service is available for a pick up at 10:25 a.m. at the Amphitheater bus stop on St. Andrews Drive. It returns to the Amphitheater at 11:40 a.m.
Thursday, July 18
Beef cheeseburger with swiss cheese, potato salad, shredded lettuce, tomato and red onion, whole grain hamburger bun, mayonaise, mustard and ketchup, and sugar-free fruited gelatin.
Friday, July 19
Moroccan lentil vegetable soup with sugar-free crackers, veggie egg salad, barley mushroom salad, whole wheat mini blueberry muffin with Smart Balance or diet pear crisp.
Monday, July 22
Cream of spinach soup with sugar-free crackers, tarragon chicken salad with yogurt dressing, lemony orzo salad and mandarin orange.
Tuesday, July 23
Mexican beef cocido with cubed beef and broth, vegetable mix, whole grain tortilla, salsa Victoria and sugar-free fruited gelatin.
Wednesday, July 24
Ground turkey bolognese, bow tie pasta, Italian vegetable blend, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance, parmesan cheese and tropical fruit mix.
