Reminder to Future Gardeners
The Recreation Department has mailed letters to qualifying shareholders indicating they have received a spot in the new Community Garden.
Those who received letters should go to the Recreation Office in Building 5 to claim their spot and complete the required paperwork. ADA spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
People who received a letter but who want to decline the garden should contact the Recreation Department as soon as possible so they can pass it along to another resident.
Recreation staff are available to help with garden applications MondayWednesday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (closed 12:30-1 p.m. for lunch) and Thursdays from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (closed noon-12:30 p.m. for lunch). Garden applications cannot be completed Fridays or on the weekends.
