Community Church

Community Church will hold its Fall Fling Bazaar this Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The event will feature a variety of vendors, a bake sale with plenty of sweets and treats, creative craft tables, collections of old and new items from “Granny’s Attic,” and Sandy’s Café will serve lunch. Call the church office at 562-431-2503, Tuesday-Thursday from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for more information.

Sunday, Oct. 6, will be Community Church’s 62nd anniversary, and the congregation will celebrate in worship and fellowship.

Community Church meets on Sundays at 9:50 a.m. at 14000 Church place by St. Andrews Gate. The service is followed by a time of fellowship and light refreshment. People are also welcome to come early for a cup of coffee in the narthex. LWers are welcome to come to see what the “friendly church” is all about. The church regularly has first-time worshippers, and many who join once come back again.
