Community Church

Community Church will hold its Fall Fling Bazaar on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The event will feature a variety of vendors, a bake sale with plenty of sweets and treats, creative craft tables, collections of old and new items from “Granny’s Attic,” and Sandy’s Café will serve lunch. Sometimes even as the weather cools and the holiday season approaches, there is heated anger and distrust just under the surface. Sometimes people will see it or feel it, and sometimes they don’t and it sneaks up on them.

Those who have had a tense family holiday in the past, whether it is over religion, or politics, or any other topic, maybe this is a good time to join Community Church during its message series on Loving Kindness—what it is and how people can develop it.

Those who might not befinding as much joy in their life as they would like are welcome to come to see what the “friendly church” is all about. The church regularly has first-time worshippers, and many who join once come back again.

Worship is held on Sundays at 9:50 a.m., followed by a time of fellowship and light refreshment. Come early for a cup of coffee in the narthex. The church is located inside Leisure World at 14000 Church Place.
