Meals on Wheels Orange County
Meals on Wheels Orange County in partnership with the city of Seal Beach is hosting The Lunch Cafe at the North Seal Beach Center, 3333 St. Cloud Dr., Seal Beach, Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m.-noon. It is open to anyone 60 or older. Suggested contribution is $3. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $5.
Meals are served on a first-come, first-served basis and come with 1% milk.
LW Minibus service is available for a pick up at 10:25 a.m. at the Amphitheater bus stop on St. Andrews Drive. It returns to the Amphitheater at 11:40 a.m.
Thursday, Aug. 29
Pork carnitas, peas and carrots, tomato cilantro rice, whole grain tortilla and fresh orange.
Friday, Aug. 30
Fish sticks taco, red and white cabbage, black beans, whole grain mini tortillas and pineapple chunks.
Monday, Sept. 2
No service. Closed in observance of Labor Day.
Tuesday, Sept. 3
Chicken breast, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, corn, Hawaiian roll with Smart Balance, cheesecake or fresh fruit (diet).
Wednesday, Sept. 4
Cubed beef with stroganoff sauce, winter vegetable blend, egg noodles, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance and mandarin orange.
