Meals on Wheels Orange County
Meals on Wheels Orange County in partnership with the city of Seal Beach is hosting The Lunch Cafe at the North Seal Beach Center, 3333 St. Cloud Dr., Seal Beach, Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m.-noon.
It is open to anyone 60 or older. Suggested contribution is $3. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $5. Meals are served on a first-come, first-served basis and come with 1% milk.
LW Minibus service is available for a pick up at 10:25 a.m. at the Amphitheater bus stop on St. Andrews Drive. It returns to the Amphitheater at 11:40 a.m.
Thursday, Aug. 1
Diced chicken breast with sweet and sour sauce, oriental vegetable blend, egg noodles, whole wheat crackers, canned peaches and sugar-free pudding.
Friday, Aug. 2
Cubed beef with ranchera sauce, broccoli, Mexican rice, whole grain tortilla and fresh orange.
Monday, Aug. 5
Chicken breast with savory tomato sauce, peas and carrots, brown rice, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance and tropical fruit mix.
Tuesday, Aug. 6
Beef patty on whole grain hamburger bun with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayo and mustard, fiesta corn and bell pepper salad and pineapple chunks.
Wednesday, Aug. 7
Veggie egg salad, California salad, Moroccan lentil vegetable soup, spring mix, whole wheat bread with Smart Balance and fresh orange.
