Celebration of the Americas at the St. Isadore Historical Plaza

On Saturday, July 13, St. Isadore Historical Plaza in Los Alamitos will celebrate the Americas Under the Stars from 4 -9 p.m. Tickets are $80 and can be purchased online at stisidorehistoricalplaza.org and at the door. This upcoming celebration will reflect 37 countries of the Americas.

The event includes beverages starting at 4 p.m., and dinner at 5, with live music and exotic rhythms by gifted singers and performers beginning with music of the United States. The venue is both a state and federal historical preservation site as its chapel is the oldest public building in Los Alamitos. Activities at the Plaza, now a 501(c)3 nonprofit, have been expanded through memberships, hosting popular cultural and culinary events, and rentals for community meetings and family celebrations. The current focus is to repair the roof, secure the walls, and restore eight stained glass windows (at $9,000 each).
