2024 Life Options Expo is June 28

The Golden Rain Foundation, in partnership with Lucent Care and Oakmont and Ivy Park Senior Care, invites everyone to the seventh annual 2024 Life Options Expo on Friday, June 28, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., in Clubhouse 4.

Katya Lukina profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, will be there to educate the residents about the disaster and emergency preparedness.

The purpose of this corporation is compiling and making emergency management, response information and preparedness planning available to LW residents. It also develops disaster response plans, activities and materials within the community.

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be a returning participant at this year’s expo. Members of this team are the residents who want to learn more about being prepared in the event of a disaster. When unexpected events such as earthquakes and power outages occur, CERT members are ready to help.

Golden Age Foundation (GAF), an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, will also be present. It is dedicated to serving LW residents through its mobility aids program, tax assistance and more. People will also learn how to become a GAF volunteer and serve the community.

LW Transportation Department will also be there to answer the questions about the bus service for residents.
