Meals on Wheels Orange County
Meals on Wheels Orange County in partnership with the city of Seal Beach is hosting The Lunch Cafe at the North Seal Beach Center, 3333 St. Cloud Dr., Seal Beach, Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m.-noon. It is open to anyone 60 or older. Suggested contribution is $3. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $5.
LW Minibus service is available for a pick up at 10:25 a.m. at the Amphitheater bus stop on St. Andrews Drive, with a drop off at the Community Center. The Minibus returns to the Amphitheater at 11:40 a.m.
Thursday, Nov. 16
Baked tilapia with ranchero sauce, Mexican rice, broccoli, tortilla, sugar-free pudding, and orange juice.
Friday, Nov. 17
Roast turkey with brown gravy, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, California vegetable blend, dinner roll with Smart Balance, assorted cake or a fresh fruit (diet).
Monday, Nov. 20
Pork chile verde with verde sauce, pinto beans, peas and carrots, tortilla, and tropical fruit mix.
Tuesday, Nov. 21
Zuni corn soup with sugarfree crackers, poppy seed chicken, pasta salad, harvest salad (spring mix, cranberries, almonds and balsamic dressing), whole wheat crackers and sugarfree fruited gelatin.
Wednesday, Nov. 22
Sliced ham with apricot sauce, mashed potatoes, collard greens, Parkerhouse roll with Smart Balance, pumpkin pie or a fresh fruit (diet).
