Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library (FOTL) Bookstore will be closed Nov. 23-24 for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. On Dec. 26, the FOTL Bookstore will close until further notice for remodeling.

People should hold all boutique donations, such as decor and other non-book items, starting immediately. The FOTL will still have its holiday boutique and lots of beautiful items to sell, and is in no danger of running out of items to enhance the home. FOTL will continue to accept donations of books and cards till the end of November. The Bookstore has an abundance of cookbooks and quilting books, so consider these items for gifts or for personal use. FOTL may need to recycle some in the future if they are not sold.

By February, the Bookstore will have a freshly painted, recarpeted bookstore and boutique. The FOTL needs urgent cooperation during this transition. Goodwill and other thrift stores will be happy to take donations of items that people cannot hold until the bookstore’s reopening. To regular book and puzzle buyers: stock up because the bookstore and the LW Library will both be closed for approximately six weeks. FOTL thanks everyone for their patience during this time.
