Congregation Sholom will hold services via Zoom with Rabbi Mike Mymon on Friday, June 16, at 6:30 p.m. Rabbi Mymon will also lead services on Saturday, June 17, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and via Zoom at 10 a.m.

Saturday’s Torah reading will be Sh’lach from the book of Numbers. Shelach (send) tells the story of Israelite spies journeying into Canaan, the negative report they bring back, and the resulting punishment decreed upon the Israelites: to wander and die in the desert over 40 years. It ends with laws about sacrifices, the story of a man who desecrates Shabbat, and the commandment to wear ritual fringes.
