Leisure World resident Dori Campbell's (second from left) 65th birthday was Feb. 13 and Leisure World resident Max Matos' (second from right) 83rd birthday was Feb. 23. Dori and Max held a joint birthday celebration on Feb. 28 at the Luxe Buffet in Westminster that has 107 items on its buffet and custom-cook lines. Friends of the two birthday celebrants celebrated along with Leisure World residents Jeanne Berro (r) and Debbi Fudge, (l) who were the hosts of the birthday party.
LW resident Marilyn Long (third from right) celebrated her birthday on Jan. 31. Friends, family, and others in the Hospitality Room joined Marilyn to celebrate with cake and coffee. A chocolate chip chocolate bundt cake was baked by Alanna Eaby especially for Marilyn.
Mutual 15 resident Betty Morgan's (l) 92nd birthday is on March 15, but her birthday celebration started earlier. Mu - tual 1 resident Dori Campbell gifted Betty and Debbi Fudge tickets to the Feb. 19 Musical Theatre West's performance of the "9 to 5" musical at The Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Cen - ter in Long Beach, just six miles from Leisure World.
Leisure World resident Cynthia Stone (l) celebrated her 83rd birthday on Feb. 27 with her Fitness Fusion Club fellow members and fitness leader Lori Sage (r). She was serenaded with "Happy Birth - day" and received a standing ovation. Cynthina noted to her Fitness Fusion Club fellow members how good it felt to hear "Happy Birthday To You" sung to her.
