Presidents’ Council Recap
Presidents’ Council November 3, 2022 Clubhouse 4/Zoom tele-video conference The regular monthly meeting of the Presidents’ Council of Leisure World Seal Beach was convened at 9:08 a.m. by President Jeri Dolch on Nov. 3 in Clubhouse 4 and via Zoom tele-video conference.
The following is a recap:
• The regular monthly Council meeting minutes of Oct. 6, were approved, by the Council, stand as written.
• GRF President Marsha Gerber discussed GRF Representatives and their duties at the Mutuals’ monthly board meetings.
Gerber provided different options on what the Mutuals would like their GRF Representative to present during the monthly board meetings.
• Executive Director Jessica Sedgwick discussed upcoming changes in the Stock Transfer Office and provided updates on upcoming projects regarding Jenark, processing escrows and creating a board/resident portal.
• Facilities Director Mark Weaver discussed that it is the Mutuals’ responsibility to maintain and clean composting bins. All composting bins have been delivered.
Weaver also provided updates on the Turf Removal Program.
• Security Services Director Victor Rocha provided updates regarding the theft issues in the community and Security Services has been working with Seal Beach Police Department.
• Mutual Administration Director Jodi Hopkins presented the Mutual Administration monthly reports and discussed the collection policy.
• President Dolch adjourned the meeting at 10:29 a.m. The next council meeting will be held Thursday, Dec. 1, at 9 a.m., at Clubhouse 4 and via Zoom and YouTube LIVE.
