LW artist will host variety of art classes, first up: torn paper art

Instructor Elizabeth Butterfield will introduce residents to the fascinating and creative world of mixed-medium arts. An interesting variety of techniques such as acrylic painting, collage, finger painting and the assembling of unique found objects will all be explored.

Residents will be inspired by the exciting variety of materials which can be found in the most surprising places.

Classes will be held every Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. Each participant must pay a $12 cash-only supply fee. For more information, contact Butterfield at (626) 272-6541.

Space is limited will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

The first class will be held on Sept. 28 from 1-3 p.m. in the Art Room, Clubhouse 4, and will explore torn paper art.
