East/West winners in a seven-table game on Aug. 18 were Dave Carman and Emma Trepinski with a 60.32% game, followed close behind were Jeanette Estill and Bill Brooks with a 60.32% game. Sibyl Smith andAlAppel were North/South winners with a 59.23% game.

The lure of extra ACBL points followed by a barbecue picnic resulted in an 11-table game on Aug. 19. Overall winners of the unit-rated game were Bill Brooks andApril Berg with a 61.11% game; second: Larry Topper and Lynn Danielson with a 59.26% game; third: Judy Jones and Al Appel with a 58.56% game; fourth: LaVonne McQuilkin and Carol Murakoshi with a 53.70% game; tied for fifth: Joan Tschirki and Nancy Lichter and Alan Olschwang and Kay Tseng with 53.24% games.

Overall winners in a fourtable Howell game on Aug. 20 were Russ Gray and Linda Nye with a 60.71% game; second: Sibyl Smith and Al Appel with a 59.52% game.

North/South winners in the nine-table game on Aug. 22 were Linda and Dick Stein with a 63.19% game; second: Larry Topper and Frances Gross with a 61.34% game. East/West winners were Judy Jones and Al Appel with a 61.11% game; second: Beth Matheny and Fred Reker with a 60.88% game.

Games are played on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons in Clubhouse 1 beginning at 12:30 p.m. Arrive by noon to confirm reservations.
