New Gospel and Country Strings Club seeks musical members

NEW CLUB

The new Country Gospel Strings Club is looking for members. The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Clubhouse 3, Room 3, from 1-3:30 p.m.

LW residents who enjoy singing gospel music but do not play a musical instrument or do play an instrument and enjoy group singing and strumming (guitar) are invited to the meeting. Both levels of participation are enthusiastically welcomed at the Sept. 7 meeting to know if regular club participation is of interest.

The club features group playing and singing of Christian music, including country gospel, traditional hymns and praise choruses. All levels of singing and playing ability are welcome. The club provides use of microphones and music stands. Membership is free. Club song books of chords and lyrics for each country gospel, traditional hymn, or praise is available at cost of publication.

For more information and to ensure a reserved seat, call or show up at the meeting to check out the club. To reserve a seat, call Irv Hart at (562) 296-5619.
