American Legion Auxiliary
The American Legion Post will not host Bingo on Dec. 26 but will return on Jan. 2. Doors will open at 1 p.m. in Clubhouse 2, and play begins at 1:30. Remember that masks are currently required in all Trust properties.
Additionally, there will be not be a district meeting on Saturday, Jan. 8, as the officers will be attending the D.E.C. convention at the Marriott Hotel by the Long Beach airport. All members of the Auxiliary are invited to attend. To carpool and RSVP, call (562) 594-0209.
The Post will sponsor a super Bingo on Jan. 23. Buy-ins will be $15 for six games on a sheet. Jackpots will be $100 for the first nine games and $150 for the 10th game. There will be other games and door prizes.Family and friends are welcome to join. Auxiliary members should record their volunteer hours for 2021 and get them to Donna Severson as soon as possible. Severson will forward the totals to the National American Legion, who reports all volunteer hours to the U.S. Congress. This important report has a huge impact on the help given to veterans by Congress.
