Cribbage Club
Longtime Cribbage Club member Jim Kaspar won all seven games on Nov. 23, earning him a third star on his name badge and first place with a perfect score of 847. Second place went to Bob Berry with a score of 831, while Pat Fellers placed third with 827, and Carrie Kistner took fourth with 825. Delicious pies, provided by the club, were served to all players. The members found it difficult to resist when the choices were apple, pumpkin or pecan. The club thanks Terry Thrift for running the errand that made the Thanksgiving pie feast possible. Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday in Clubhouse 1. Snacks are served at noon, and play begins at 12:30 p.m. Seven games are played, with members rotating at the end of each game. Newcomers are always welcome.
Anyone who would like to learn the game or brush up on their skills should leave a message with Patti Smith at (562) 242-4674.
