Golfers spread awareness Oct. 19

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, members of the Women’s Golf Club wore pink duringtournamentplayonOct.19. Many thanks to all the golfers who contributed to the Breast Cancer Angels organization, which assists those patients undergoing treatment. Fifty-four members competed that Tuesday for low gross, low net and fewest putts.

Congratulations to Devora Kim for scoring a hole-in-one on hole 3! Since joining the Ladies Golf Club five years ago, Kim has scored two holes-in-one.

The flight winners were:

Flight D: Low gross: Mary Devlin, 33; low net: Patty Latrell 24; fewest putts: Neva Senske, 11.
