Leisure World Baptist Church will meet for worship on Sunday, Dec. 22, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4 to study the people who sought to see the baby Jesus.

New Testament history records that besides the shepherds, two other groups came to Bethlehem seeking the Christ child. One was the Parthian Magi, or wise men, whose question, “where is he who is born King of the Jews,” troubled King Herod. In his jealousy, Herod sent his soldiers also to search for and destroy the child. The Bible records how Jesus escaped the clutches of the murderous king.
