Community Church
Community Church will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Christmas Bazaar will feature a variety of vendors including a bake sale with plenty of holiday sweets and treats, creative craft tables, and a collection of old and new items from Granny’s Attic.
Sandy’s Café will serve lunch. Call the church office at 562-431-2503, Tuesday-Thursday from 9:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. for more information.
This Sunday, Dec. 1, will be the fourth Sunday of extended Advent, though for many churches it will be the first Sunday of Advent.
The four themes of the typical Advent season are Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. Those who could use a little more hope this week are welcome to attend this upcoming service and see what the “friendly church” is all about. Those who are feeling anxious or uncertain in this time, and are looking for a sanctuary and a safe community, are welcome to join.
Worship is held on Sundays at 9:50 a.m., followed by a time of fellowship and light refreshment. Come early for a cup of coffee in the narthex. Community Church is located inside Leisure World at 14000 Church Place.
