Sunshine Club

Dr. Nissi Suppogu, a cardiologist and specialist in women’s heart disease, will speak at the Sunshine Club on Friday, Aug. 9, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m.

Suppogu is a fellowshiptrained, board-certified cardiologist who specializes in women’s heart disease with MemorialCare Medical Group. She serves as the medical director for women’s heart disease at the MemorialCare Heart and Vascular Institute at the Long Beach Medical Center.

Suppogu focuses on preventing heart conditions at every stage and is especially committed to the accurate and timely diagnosis of female-specific presentations of heart diseases. She works toward providing personalized medical care tailored to each patient’s needs, believing in the importance of educating her patients about their heart conditions to achieve improved outcomes.

She has numerous publications and has worked extensively with women affected by coronary microvascular dysfunction. She believes that research is essential for the growth and evolution of cardiovascular care and that every patient has a role to play in creating a better place for future patients to follow.

All residents are welcome to join this meeting. The Sunshine Club requires no membership fees, but donations are welcome.
