LW Bocce Ball fall leagues will begin Sept. 10

The Laguna Woods Bocce Club has challenged Leisure World to another match in Laguna on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 4-7 p.m. Players should contact Vicki Mingus at vicki1291@yahoo.com by Friday, Aug. 16, if they would like to participate in this event. Dinner tickets are $10 per person and players must provide their own transportation. The tournament is limited to 20 players but all are welcome to come as spectators and cheer on the Leisure World club. The last match was a huge success and everyone had a great time.

The LW Bocce Ball Club has made plans for the next season of bocce ball. Fall leagues will begin play during the week of Sept. 10 for seven weeks. The next finals and party will be scheduled in early November. The club thanks everyone for signing up early— all of the rosters are full. The fall schedules will be emailed within the next week or so.
