Food scrap collection carts delivered today
ATHENS SERVICES
Athens Services is implementing a food scrap collection program, per Senate Bill 1383, which requires resients to place food scraps and foodsoiled paper (100% fiber-based) into a special container. The new organics carts will be delivered today, Oct. 27, and tomorrow, Oct. 28, to all Mutual trash collection areas. The weekly service is scheduled to begin on Nov. 4.
