Golden Age Foundation (GAF) president Anna Derby spoke on Dec. 4 at the Quilting Bees Club about the role and services of the GAF. Over 40 members of the Quilting Bees Club attended. Sunshine Club will celebrate the holidays Friday in CH 3 The Sunshine Club will celebrate the holidays Friday, Dec. 20, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m. in place of the club’s usual Friday meeting. This event is for pre-paid sign-ups only. This is the club’s last meeting of the year and will celebrate its 12th anniversary. The gathering includes a catered California Pizza Kitchen lunch

Toy drive dance benefits kids in need


Clubhouse 4 will be the site of GRF’s annual toy drive dance on Saturday, Dec. 14. Doors open at 6 p.m., with live entertainment by the Legends of Rock starting at 7. All residents and their guests are invited. Entrance is free, but each attendee must bring a new, unwrapped toy (no stuffed animals). The GRF is thrilled to support the Brown Descents Car Club Association again this year. They
