The Leisure World Scrabble Club met on Dec. 28 and on all four Wednesdays in January. There were 73 scores above 300, seven of which were higher than 400. There were 44 bingos—the use of all seven tiles in one move. Bob Ruderman led with 22 of the bingos and 10 scores above 300. Four of his totals were above 400, including one of 461. Linda Nye and Howard Small were the North/South winners with a 59.5% game in the six-table game on Jan. 19. East/West winners were Bob Goldstein and Kar-Yee Nelson with a 61.5% game. With a 64.3% game Carol Murakoshi and LaVonne McQuilkin were the North/ South winners in the ninetable game on Jan. 20. The Yahtzee Club met on Jan. 20. The winner for most Yahtzees was Susie Ralston. The winner for the highest score was Kathe Repasi. The winner for the lowest score was Sandy Weisenstein. The door prize winner went to Diane Seeger. The next meeting will be Feb. 3 in Clubhouse 3, Room 6, at 1 p.m. sharp. There will be a halftime social. The club meets the first, third and fifth Fridays of each month.

A small group of dedicated karaoke singers meet on Mondays in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m. to practice their song for the coming week. Everyone is welcome to join the group each Wednesday evening in Clubhouse 1 to enjoy the singing talent of their neighbors and friends. —Margie Thompson
