The IRS has extended the filing deadline for 2020 federal tax return to May 17. Therefore, the AARP Tax Program sponsored by the Golden Age Foundation (GAF) has extended it tax preparation service to May 5. The service is offered Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. The Leisure World Library recently announced it will reopen for in-person visits on Monday, April 5. The pick-up program has been suspended, and the Library’s open hours of Monday through Saturday, from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., will be reinstated. Though the hours will revert to the pre-pandemic schedule, there are some precautions that will be in place to continue to minimize exposure to COVID19.
