On May 3, nine men of the Men’s League teed off at Willowick Golf Course in Santa Ana. A cool morning greeted golfers at the oldest 18-hole public golf course in Orange County, but once the sun came out, it warmed up nicely. GAF Hearing aid batteries can be recycled at the Golden Age Foundation’s (GAF) battery collection bucket, located in the alley behind Clubhouse 5. Before the pandemic, the LW Weekly office and the Hospitality Room in Clubhouse 6 had buckets for shareholders to drop off used batteries at their convenience. Take steps now to reserve meeting space in LW clubhouses this year

LW CLUBS GRF clubs and organizations usually must renew their standings yearly, but last year was an exception. LW is beginning to return to in-person meetings in hopes of being able to resume all favorite activities around mid-June. In anticipation of that, the Recreation Department has begun renewing clubs by appointment only. Staff is asking for patience as the goal is to accomplish
