The prototype for LW's iconic Amphitheater, now almost 60 years old, was apparently a Southern California landmark. Resident historian William Thompson of Mutual 5 had heard that the Amphitheater design was based on the Hollywood Bowl. Foley has been serving as the first Democratic woman elected to the Orange County Board of Supervisors since earlier this year. She has accomplished a great deal in just a few months, with her primary goal being to make county government more accessible to voters.
