Ten men and one woman of the Leisure World Golf League participated in the Oct. 8 tournament at the par-70, 6,000-yard Willowick Golf Course in Santa Ana. Friends of the Leisure World Library Bookstore will host a BIG Book Sale Sept. 9-10 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Shoppers need to bring their own bag(s); for $2 per bag, they can fill them with any books from inside the store—hardbacks, paperbacks, children’s books, coffee table books, nonfiction, books on CD, etc. Masks are required. The number of customers inside the store will be limited as necessary.
