Fay Cummings from Mutual 9 (second from right) turned 96 on April 3. The day was warm and sunny as 28 people came throughout the day to wish her a happy birthday, and have a piece of cake. Her two sons were able to attend, and that was the icing on the cake. Cummings has lived in Leisure World for over 30 years. She was a member of the GRF board for 12 years, and the treasurer for 10 of those years.

Evelyn Ingram's friends, neighbors and family celebrated her 95th birthday with a surprise reception on March 27. She was greeted by a lively group, but the biggest surprise was a visit from almost all of her grand, great-grand, and great, great grandchildren. The party continued on the greenbelt in front of her home in Mutual 11 on her actual birthday, March 29.
