LW visited by LA Times columnist

Leisure World was visited by Los Angeles Times columnist Steve Lopez on April 1. Lopez spoke to members of the LW Democratic Club, Seniors for Peace and the LW Republican Club president as part of research for a column about threats to Social Security and Medicare. The column ran in the April 4 edition of the LA Times.

Lopez has been a LA Times columnist since 2001. He is a fourtime Pulitzer finalist and the author of “Independence Day: What I Learned About Retirement, From Some Who’ve Done It and Some Who Never Will,” which features a chapter on Leisure World.
