Notice of Proposed Rule Change

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a duly held meeting of the Board of Directors conducted on March 25, 2025, the Board approved to send out the following proposed rule change to the membership for 28-day review. The proposed rule change will be reviewed by the Board for adoption at their April 22, 2025, meeting.
Key Changes of Proposed Rule Change: Revised Sections: 2.5, 2.6, 3.5, and 3.6: 1.1. FurtherOffenses:SubjecttoGRFBoardofDirectors’sole discretion based on the severity of the infraction.
1.2. EgregiousOffenses: TheBoardofDirectorsmaydeviate from this schedule when it determines, in its sole discretion, doing so is necessary to address an egregious offense and impose fines up to $1,000, per incident or on a daily basis, and suspend access to GRF Trust Properties up to 120-days, which may be extended depending on the circumstances. “Egregious offenses” include, but are not limited to, violence, threats of violence, conduct that creates a hostile environment or a threat to personal safety or property, repeat and/or blatant offenses, etc.
Minor clarifications were also made to Sections 7.1, 7.2, and 7.3. Purpose and Effect of the Proposed Rule Change: The Board of Directors previously requested that Association Counsel review the language regarding Egregious Offenses in the Community Rules and Regulations Member comments may be submitted prior to the meeting by emailing grfboardaction@lwsb.com or submitting to the reception desk located on the first floor of the Administration Building at 13531 St. Andrews Drive, Seal Beach, CA 90740.
