Meals on Wheels of Long Beach, Inc., delivers freshly cooked meals for $11.50 per day Monday-Friday, between 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Deliveries include an 8-ounce carton of 1% milk.

Thursday, April 3

Pork loin with black peppercorn sauce, broccoli, garlic chive mashed potatoes, peaches, turkey, ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato and pickle, and beet and onion salad.

Friday, April 4

Fresh Vera Cruz fiesta corn, green beans, cantaloupe, Chinese chicken salad with mandarin oranges, cabbage, carrots, onions, Asian dressing and crackers.

Monday, April 7

Turkey roast with gravy, herb staffing, green beans almondine, pear, egg salad sandwich with spinach, tomato and tricolor coleslaw.

Tuesday, April 8

Beef teriyaki with brown rice, Asian vegetables, applesauce with cinnamon, Chinese chicken salad with mandarin oranges, cabbage, carrots, onions and Asian dressing.

Wednesday, April 9

Stuffed bell peppers, Fiesta corn, carrots, Waldorf salad, roast beef and cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato and pickle, and creamy cucumber salad.
