SB Lions Club distributes $10 boxes of fresh produce monthly

The Seal Beach Lions Produce Box Program returns to Clubhouse 6 today, March 27, from 10 a.m.-noon.

For $10 cash, residents can purchase a 12-pound box of seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables. This is not an incomebased program. All Leisure World residents are eligible, regardless of income. GRF ID cards are required.

People can also pick up food boxes for their friends and neighbors as long as they bring the person’s GRF ID card with them. The Lions Club distributes produce boxes inside Leisure World on a monthly basis.

Those interested in purchasing a box are encouraged to arrive early to this popular distribution.
