Both the Leisure World Pool Club league nights and the Snooker league have reached the final few weeks of the season.

In the Monday night league, all three matches ended in identical 7-6 scores. The Snipers won, maintaining their eight game lead over Deadeye. Deadeye fought off Cue Crews comeback bid in their match despite an outstanding performance by Cue Crew’s Bruce Pettys, who swept his singles 2-0.

In Wednesday night league play, the first-place Sharks cruised to a 10-3 win over the RDM Trio. The Sharks were led by Rusty Aquino, who had a perfect game with seven wins. Dave Mackinder won both his singles matches for RDM Trio.

In the snooker league, 13 players are battling for a top six finish and an entry into the playoff s. Players notching key wins were Bruce Pettys, Gary Snow, John Barth and Cornel Sneeks.
