Community Church will hold a dollar clearance sale on Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Everything must go for $1. All residents are welcome to swing by Community Church to shop for items that are all priced for $1 each. Call the church office at 562-431-2503 for more information.

Community Church is well into the season of kindness and to highlight this season, all residents are invited to come to “Coffee with the Pastor” on Thursdays at 10 a.m. This is a great opportunity for those who would like a low-key opportunity to meet Pastor Johan Dodge and some of the members of the church.

This Sunday, March 23, Community Chruch will continue its journey through the book of Luke with a look at Jesus’ teaching on the nature of sin.

Jesus came to change the culture of sin, and the church over time re-adopted the sin culture that Jesus taught against. Community Church will look at the teachings of Jesus and how believers can apply those teachings in their own time and own lives.

Community Church gathers for worship every Sunday morning at 9:50 a.m. at 14000 Church Place next to St. Andrews Gate.

People can also join members for a cup of coffee in the lobby before the service starts. Church members aim to be welcoming to everyone, especially those with no previous church experience. Many who join once come back again. All are welcome to join.
