Community Karaoke Club

Don and Bev Sunday met during a karaoke evening five years ago and celebrated their wedding anniversary with the club on Feb. 26. They both have pleasing singing voices that audience members are eager to hear.

The club’s singers search for relevant tunes. On Feb. 26, the topic was rain. Barbie May found a catchy country song. Bob Barnum’s choice was a blues selection, “It Feels Like Rain.” A happy Pat Paternoster was invited to sing a few duets with folks. Dotti Herdman wore a smile as her son filmed her singing. Ginger Freed did fine with a favorite, “Release Me.”

The Irish category in the karaoke song book spans folk classics, heartfelt ballads and traditional music.

Karaoke singers will celebrate St Patrick’s Day with the tunes like “Danny Boy” and “Wild Irish Rose” melodies. All are welcome to join the fun in Clubhouse 1 on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
