RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS

Leisure World is a community with a long legacy of sharing kindness and care with neighbors and friends. This year, the LW Weekly invites residents to send in stories, quotes and suggestions in honor of Random Acts of Kindness week Feb. 9-15.

Kindness is core in Leisure World: Residents who help lost people home, walk their friends’ dogs, hand a few quarters to a neighbor in the laundry room, people who give, check on, listen to and volunteer.

The LW Weekly will showcase all efforts, big and small, in a feature to be printed Feb. 20. Send your random- act-of-kindness story, quote or suggestion to emmad@lwsb.com by Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. for inclusion in the Feb. 20 issue. All submissions are subject to editing and will run as space allows. High resolution photos may also be submitted and will run as space allows.
