American Latino Club

The American Latino Club will meet on Thursday, Jan. 9, from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.

The country of the month will be Colombia, with a Colombian lunch served. The club will also view an informative video about the country.

The three lunch menu choices are chuleta valluna: a pork dish served with potatoes and small side green salad; two Colombian beef empanadas with a marranita and small side green salad; or one large Colombian chicken tamale served with an arepa and green salad. The lunch will be $17 for members and $19 for guests. The club will also collect the yearly $10 dues at this meeting. Those who are eating lunch should bring a total of $27 to cover dues and lunch. Dues must be paid by the deadline on Jan. 2, at 3 p.m. Those who do not pay their dues by this date will be considered a guest. People should make sure payment reaches Treasurer, Myriam Klotz, either by U.S. mail or by dropping the payment off in her mailbox at 13940 Thunderbird Drive, 6-G, or call 714-746-9626. Checks should be made payable to the American Latino Club. Members will be contacted by email or phone.

Members and guests may bring their own lunch and pay $5 which includes beverages, but should notify Klotz.
