Sunshine Club will celebrate the holidays Friday in CH 3

The Sunshine Club will celebrate the holidays Friday, Dec. 20, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m. in place of the club’s usual Friday meeting. This event is for pre-paid sign-ups only.

This is the club’s last meeting of the year and will celebrate its 12th anniversary. The gathering includes a catered California Pizza Kitchen lunch and a souvenir group photo. The LW Songbirdz musical group will perform holiday songs for club members to sing along to.

The club will take a holiday break until Jan. 10, with GRF Security Director Victor Rocha as the guest speaker. During the year, the Sunshine Club invites many community leaders and administrative supervisors to speak at the club’s meetings.

The Sunshine Club began on Jan. 12, 2012, with the mission of “Building Bridges for Brighter Leisure World,” and to help all residents get along in the community and get the best out of living in Leisure World.
